Banana Nut Smoothie
Serves 1.
Prep time: >5 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 banana
- 2 tablespoons oats (I used quick-cooking)
- 1 tablespoon almond meal
- 1 cup skim milk
- 2 tablespoons non-fat Greek yogurt
- Dash of cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
- 1 tablespoon honey
Directions:
- Place the banana, oats, almond meal, milk, greek yogurt, honey, cinnamon and about 1 1/2 tablespoons walnuts in the blender. Blend until completely smooth.
- Pour the smoothie into a jar and garnish with crushed walnuts and a few banana slices.
